"Red Cross battles yet another internal crisis"

I wanted to do an opinion article just to do something different.
I thought this article was really bad. It was random. She started of the first few paragraphs talking about how the many people think the Red Cross is religious, but then connected back to that very briefly and not very well. She went on talking about how many of the presidents have left office, focusing on the latest president who was fired for having an affair with, i believe a coworker. It wasn't very interesting, and i didn't really agree with her opinion. She didn't really support it with anything.
The flow of the article was also really choppy and random. It made it uninteresting to read.

I agree with your comment that this article was just really bad.

She didn't really have anything relevant to say. I think there's something to be said about the fact that it's an opinion piece, so she's not necessarily required to attribute everything. But, having loose facts or offering your opinion on rumors is not exactly professional, in my opinion.

Finally, this paragraph enraged me:

On Thursday, it was reported that the woman, who runs a Gulf Coast-based Red Cross chapter, is also married, and pregnant. Obviously, this is not an ideal situation, but I'm not sure it warrants the man's immediate termination. Despite being a subordinate, the woman so far hasn't publicly claimed coercion, and no one has said anything about her getting an untoward raise or a new job title. Although adultery doesn't exactly fit the clean-cut reputation of the Red Cross, firing someone for it without evidence of something more seems bizarrely antediluvian. Couldn't they have just suspended the guy?

It is thrown in out of nowhere and talks about adultery after introducing that a woman running a chapter of the Red Cross is married and pregnant. Oh, well you don't find THAT anywhere, do you? Married and pregnant? This is just so poorly written that I don't even get what she's trying to prove.

Anyways, thanks for sharing the article.
